The C.A.T. (Community Action Team) consists of a group of dedicated volunteers who advise on projects for the City of Chewelah.  Their most recent project was to assist with designs used throughout the Main Street Revitalization Project.   This included the designs of the sidewalks, lighting, and other ornamental features used to enhance the downtown corridor.

C.A.T. is currently working on several other projects including a Kiosk in the City Park, signage and landscaping for a Gateway Entry Project on Flowery Trail, parking in and around Chewelah, and the creation of walk and bike paths throughout the City.

C.A.T. meets on the third Thursday of each month at 1:00 P.M. in the Conference Room at City Hall.  Meetings are open to the public.
